Description
I love to get behind a camera and take pictures. While everyone is in a rush to get the next biggest mega pixel, photography for me is about slowing down and observing life. I shoot with a 1970's canon ftb. It is a simple machine yet so eloquent. No matter how much the inconvenience I can't bring myself to give up the beauty and experience of shooting film with a completely manual camera. The smells, the feeling of the film, the sound of the old machine releasing its shutter, it is incredible. On rare occasions I will shoot a few with my wife's 50D but not often. These are some pictures of mine that I like, not all great but for some reason or another strike a chord with me. Maybe it is the subject matter or the memory.Recent images
